Abstract: Intensional polymorphism, the ability to dispatch to di#erent routines based on types at run time,
enables a variety of advanced implementation techniques for polymorphic languages, including tag-free
garbage collection, unboxed function arguments, polymorphic marshalling, and flattened data structures. (Update)
