....As it stands, a control flow graph does not help in answering these questions. To overcome the limitations of control flow graphs, a number of models and languages have been proposed. Among them are triggers (see, e.g. 12] temporal constraints [16, 17] and Concurrent Transaction Logic (CTR) [4, 10]. As pointed by [10] triggers are not expressive enough to specify global dependencies.
