The prototype implementation is part of a TCP IP driver for the LSI 11 processor running the Fuzzball operating system [7] and is connected via 4800 bps serial line to a terminal node controller (TNC) which controls the radio equipment in both AX.25 virtual circuit and datagram modes. The TNC firmware produces as an option a monitor report for each received frame of a selected type, including AX.25 U, I and S frames. ....
