....hurt the biggest jobs is not entirely true. Interestingly, this theorem is counter to the common portrayal of FB in the literature. When investigating E[S(x) previous literature has used percentile plots such as Figure 3(b) which hide the behavior of the largest one percent of the jobs [12]. When we look at the same plots as a function of job size, such as Figure 3(a) the presence of a hump becomes evident.
