....The speech data used to derive regression trees pertains to one male subject reading eleven short stories: corpus one, and newspaper text: corpus two. Both corpora have been manually segmented and labelled prior to this investigation. Corpus one has been used in several other studies, e. g [6] and [7]. The corpora contain more than 30 minutes of speech. In all, the speech data comprise some 12.000 vowels.
