....The database contains 311 cases diagnosed at the Oncological Institute of Gipuzkoa (Spain) in the period between 1 January 1988 and 31 December 1995. The second application corresponds to the use of Bayesian networks as a bi level multi classifier for predicting the survival of patients at ICU [26]. Bayesian networks will be used for combining the predictions of different component classifiers. The component classifiers considered in the application are: ID3, C4.5, NB, NBTree, IB1, oneR, cn2, Ripper and IB4. The database used in this study has been obtained from the ICU of the Canary ....
