....general goal for solving EAPs. In this paper we present a unifying framework for the numerically reliable solution of EAPs by exploiting the intrinsic non uniqueness of the problems. The non uniqueness issue is addressed by formulating the EAPs as minimum norm robust pole assignment problems [15, 16, 17].
