We show possible uses for each. accessmode determines if the file system is read only, write only, or allows both reading and writing. Read only file systems can be a useful security feature[23]. debug determines whether or not debugging code is included. FiST provides extensive debugging support; developers do not have to write debugging statements. If used, our debugging code can trace vnode operations, arguments passed to functions, structures and the values of their fields, etc. ....
