This is illustrated in Figure 1. 1. 2 Case Based Reasoning and Case Based Design Case based reasoning (CBR) is basically a method to solve a new problem by remembering a previous similar situation and by reusing information and knowledge of that situation [2]. CBR provides a model for applying prior experiences to new design problems.
