In our opinion, grammars should be regarded much more as real engineering artifacts [5] On the other hand, grammars are not too much of a research topic anymore with a small number of exceptions [15, 3, 5, 4]. Research should supply the formal methods useful in grammar development. The present paper contributes in this context.
