....of June 4, 1993 15:03 Chapter 6 Color This release of eXene supports the most basic use of color supported by X: read only access to the default colormap using either RGB values or names to specify the color. A device independent mechanism for specifying colors is part of the X11R5 standard [TA91, SG92] . We plan to use this as the basis for future color support in eXene. The current color interface is defined in the EXeneBase structure and is given in Figure 6.1.
