....chip [8] The instruction consists of the multiplexer truth table opcode (TTOP) and the result control opcode (COP) Y, X and memory output constitutes the multiplexer 3 bit select code. Other prototype chips implemented include the 512 PE, 512 bits PE CRAM [8] and the 64 PE, 128 bits PE CRAM [14]. All these are SRAM based. The first two were implemented in a 0.8 m BiCMOS process, and the last one was implemented in a 1.2 m CMOS process. The deisgn of a DRAM based 1024 PE, 16 kbits PE CRAM is still in progress [9] 2.
