Abstract: In the interoperability context, autonomous pre-existing databases are federated at some degree in order to share their data. The growing importance that the interoperability among object-oriented and relational databases is gaining, makes essential the development of adequate data models that serve as canonical models for the federation. The canonical model constitutes the basic building block for methodologies and tools for the detection of interdatabase semantic relationships that is... (Update)
