Abstract: We present a Hierarchical Identity Based Encryption (HIBE) system where the ciphertext
consists of just three group elements and decryption requires only two bilinear map computations,
independent of the hierarchy depth. Encryption is as e#cient as in other HIBE systems. (Update)
