Abstract: This paper contains a proposal for a terminological logic. The formalisms for representing knowledge as well as the needed inferences are described. 1 Introduction An important aspect of intelligence is the use of existing knowledge. In order to realize this in AI-Systems we need both adequate methods to represent knowledge and effective procedures to retrieve and reuse the needed knowledge.
