Abstract:
The paper presents the design and the architecture of a new Web-Based Education (WBE) environment. This environment is based on the integration of two other WBE's applications: AulaNet^TM and LiveBOOKs. Here we present the main features and the architecture of those two environments to justify our motivation for the development of OwlNet. Then we show the architecture and features of this new environment. KEY WORDS: WBE environments, AulaNet^TM, LiveBOOKs, LivePAGE, objectoriented models. RESUMO O artigo apresenta o design e a arquitetura de um novo ambiente para educao baseada na Web (WBE). Este ambiente baseado na integrao de dois outros: AulaNet^TM e LiveBOOKs. Aqui ns apresentamos as principais funcionalidades e a arquitetura desses dois ambientes para justificar a nossa motivao para o desenvolvimento do ambiente OwlNet.
