Abstract: situations are the constructs which are more amenable to mathematical manipulation. An abstract situation is defined as a (possibly non-well-founded [11]) set of infons. Given a real situation s, the set fff j s j= ffg is the corresponding abstract situation. One of the important ideas behind Situation Theory is a scheme of individuation, a way of carving the world into uniformities. Being constructs that link the scheme of individuation to the technical framework of the theory, types are... (Update)
