Abstract: Totem: A Reliable Ordered Delivery Protocol
for Interconnected Local-Area Networks
by
Deborah A. Agarwal
Many recent computer applications have been designed to execute in a distributed
computer system because a distributed system has the potential to
provide high availability and excellent performance at a low price. However,
due to the need to coordinate tasks and share data among processors, programming
the application is often difficult and, thus, this potential is not often
realized. A... (Update)
