Abstract: An approach to the design of a workbench in language design is presented. Languages are defined in the formal specification framework of \Delta offering for example attribute grammars and the module composition formalism PRA. To express the actual design of a specification, the calculus SGC offering meta-programming-like operations on specifications is instrumented.
