Abstract: This paper gives an introduction into the two object-oriented programming environments Telescript and Java which both allow to write mobile code. It illustrates some of the more interesting features of these languages as platforms for mobile software agents. Further emphasis lies on the cooperation of agents in these two object-oriented worlds.
