Abstract: Structured adaptive mesh refinement (SAMR) techniques offer the potential for accurate solutions of physically realistic models of complex physical phenomena, and are being effectively used in many domains including computational fluid dynamics, numerical relativity, astrophysics, subsurface modeling and oil reservoir simulation.
