Abstract: The enormous growth of the World Wide Web has resulted in vast amounts of data being made available to anyone with an Internet connection. The sheer quantity of this information and the way it is currently represented, however, has lead to difficulties in searching and locating quality resources. The semantic web is a proposal for a next generation Internet, and hopes to address these issues, however, its uptake has been slow due, in part, to a steep learning curve and high development cost....
