Abstract: this paper is to build on our previous work, in order to figure out under which conditions unbalanced bitstreams lead to ecient system performance in terms of the average reconstructed frame PSNR. We dierentiate between low and high motion sequences. The sequences are reconstructed with the extended MSVC approach at dierent loss probabilities and unbalance rates.
