Abstract: Mobile agents is a paradigm used in the mobile code area among others. It has been studied for several years and many implementations are available. Nevertheless, the technology is far from being widely accepted for many reasons. One of these reasons is the lack of behavior models of mobile agent systems preventing their theoretical study. This paper presents the mobile agent paradigm, some implementations of it, and a #-calculus model. This model leads to a new concept that we have called... (Update)
