Abstract: This contribution defines a metrics and proposes a solution for the problem of agents inaccessibility in multi-agent systems. We define the stand-in pattern for knowledge maintenance and remote presence in distributed agent systems with communication inaccessibility. Our implementation has been designed and tested in the agent platform. (Update)
