Abstract: this paper we presentfourcontributions on the issues arising in coordinating the behaviours of a team of autonomous agents playing soccer both in a virtual (simulated) environment and in a real (robotic) setting. The problem of coordination is one of the scientific challenges that have been put forward for the RoboCup competitions [3itio In particular, we address the challenge of improving the team performance by exploiting the ability to coordinate the actions of the players. The advantages... (Update)
