Abstract: Application level adaptation is widely cited as a practical response to the variation in context which mobile and ubiquitous computing are subject to. One approach to adaptability is to mediate the data downloaded and presented to the user. This may be achieved by selecting a sub-set of the possible data, and by selecting amongst different representations of the information available.
