Abstract: Scientific computation applications... In this paper we describe new techniques we have developed for parallel discrete-event simulation of large scale systems composed of many complex objects (e.g., static and dynamic objects). We devised them from algorithms we originally devised for hard-particle molecular dynamics systems [4]. Here fluids are modelled as a large set of moving spheres with piece-wise interactions among them. We describe how to generalize those techniques to cope with the... (Update)
