Abstract: This paper addresses the problem of coordinating multiple heterogeneous sensing platforms performing a search mission for a single target in a dynamic environment. In this approach, the decision makers build an equivalent representation of the Probability Density Function (PDF) of the target state by communicating with their neighbors in a decentralized Bayesian sensor network enabling them to coordinate their actions without exchanging any information about their plans.
