Abstract: In this paper, we apply the Network Calculus approach to the problem of deriving CAC procedures for leaky bucket constrained sources having arbitrary delay constraints. We compare the relative efficiency of FIFO-based resource allocation disciplines in this context. Among those policies, ClassP, which groups sources according to their delay requirement appears to outperform the others. A comparison with GPS further illustrates its interest. (Update)
