Abstract: A# B !A Exponentials We now reconsider the quantifiers, #x. #x. A. In the first-order linear logic we developed, the quantifiers range over a single (unspecified) domain. We may thus think of first-order logic as the study of quantification independently of any particular domain. This is accomplished by not making any assumptions about the domain of quantification. In contrast, first-order arithmetic arises if we introduce natural numbers and allow quantifiers to range specifically... (Update)
