Abstract: Model-driven development (MDD) processes are increasingly being used to develop component middleware and applications for distributed real-time and embedded (DRE) systems in various domains. DRE applications are often missioncritical and have stringent quality of service (QoS) requirements, such as timeliness, predictability and scalability. MDD software techniques are well suited for validating the operation of DRE applications since they offer a higher-level of abstraction than conventional... (Update)
