Abstract: This document forms part of a set describing the Poly[2] and Standard ML[1]
systems. It is concerned with the low-level part of the system and the interface to
the outside world. In particular it describes the data structures used to represent
various high-level objects, and the algorithms used in the garbage collector and
other low-level routines. It is intended primarily for those interested in the details
of the implementation or planning to implement their own compiler for Poly, ML
or a... (Update)
