Abstract: Lexical Functional Grammar LFG is a theory of grammar e.i. in general a theory of syntax, morphology, and semantics. It postulates two levels of syntactic representation of a sentence, a constituent structure (c-structure) and functional structure (f-structure). LFG formalism provides a simple set of devices for describing the common properties of all human Languages and the particular properties of Individual Languages.
