Abstract: When querying description logics knowledge bases, one may use free variables, called patterns, to refer to the concept or role that we query about [3]. But what if the queries contain also heterogeneous terms ? We propose to solve the so-called terminological heterogeneity by using adaptation algorithms in the place of pattern matching algorithms. To apply our adaptation algorithms to the description logics KBases, we explore the possibility of giving an interpretation of a particular... (Update)
