Abstract: Computational steering can be defined as the interactive control over a computational process during execution. A crucial aspect in a computational steering application is the user interface. In this thesis, a number of concepts and techniques are developed to allow researchers to construct and apply 3D user interfaces for computational steering. These concepts and techniques are employed in a tool (the PGO editor) that is part of the general computational steering environment (the CSE)... (Update)
