Abstract: We give an overview of current e orts to standardize e-business rules knowledge representation (KR) in XML as part of the Semantic Web. The focus especially on the design approach and criteria of RuleML, an emerging standard that we are helping to lead. We discuss the issues of standardization and Webizing which RuleML addresses.
