Abstract: This paper provides detail of the temporal extension considerations of persistence and aggregation as they apply to the storage of patient history. This is described within the context of a KBS architecture for medical applications, specifically a fetal health decision support system module to provide diagnosis of pregnancy-induced hypertension, or pre-eclampsia (Update)
