Abstract: this document is organized as follows. In section 2, the necessary
background for POMDP's and its application in robotics is given. In
the same section, there is an overview of the available techniques for the
prediction of the movement of humans or other moving obstacles. Finally,
in section 2 there is a survey of the up-to-date methods for multi-robot communication
and coordination. In section 3, the modelling of the predictive
robot navigation problem using POMDP's is detailed. Some... (Update)
