Abstract:
ABSTRACT: Computer generated forces have enormous potential for training simulations, mission evaluation and real-world projects. However, to be successful they must faithfully reproduce expert human behavior. Unfortunately, there are currently no standard procedures or methods ' for determining whether a CGF's behavior meets ' this validity criterion. Instead, ad hoc methods', which are both tedious and error-prone, are often employed. These methods ' require the human expert and domain engineer to closely examine the CGF ' s performance in a number of different situations and evaluate its ' behavior.
