Abstract: Window/credit based flow control can be used to effectively allocate network bandwidth fairly and to prevent cell loss within IP Over ATM networks. This is especially critical in the offerings of public ABR services. However, most credit/window based flow control schemes proposed today compromise performance and fairness with memory requirements. To guarantee fairness and high performance while keeping reasonable buffer requirements, we propose a new method for making the window based scheme... (Update)
