Abstract:
This paper shows how we use Prolog as the only programming language for constructing a flexible CASE shell environment supporting the tasks of object oriented development. We explain the important role played by Prolog in the entire design and the architecture of such a CASE shell, which has a sophisticated Graphic User Interface. The advantages and facilities of using Prolog as developing environment are illustrated with respect to our system called Eroos Case. Keywords: Prolog, object-oriented development, CASE.
