Abstract: The Global Flush communication primitive allows the sender to order receipt of a message with respect to receipt of other messages. Use of this primitive provides an elegant way to reason about message orderings (as it allows a process to deduce the receipt event orderings at other processes), simplifies algorithm development, and permits higher communication level concurrency than some communication primitives proposed in the literature. In this paper, we discuss an implementation of the... (Update)
