Abstract: The purpose of this research was the development of an on-line learning system by the application of nearest neighbor algorithm for providing adaptive learning materials on the course of introduction to computer networks. There were three major tasks included in the research: (1) Categorization of the materials of computer networks. (2) Application of the nearest neighbor algorithm for retrieving the most adequate materials for different students when they are learning via the World Wide Web... (Update)
