Abstract: Condor is a distributed batch computing system which allows users to execute batch processes, called Condor jobs, on unused computers in a network of workstations. Condor simulates the local environment of the submission machine to its jobs; as a result, a Condor job can access files as if it executes on the submission machine. Condor creates a checkpoint of a running job when a machine is no longer available, that is, when the owner of the machine on which the jobs is executing, starts using... (Update)
