Abstract: Factory in [GHJ95]. A factory class is used when "a system should be independent of how its products are created, composed, and represented" or when "a system should be configured with one of multiple families of products". Our WireFactory class is not abstract, but we'll explore how to create more than one kind of factory in the exercises by creating an abstract base class from which WireFactory derives.
