Abstract: Particle Swarm Optimisation is a stochastic global optimisation technique making use of a population of particles, where each particle represents a solution to the problem being optimised. The Cooperative Particle Swarm Optimiser (CPSO) is a variant of the original Particle Swarm Optimiser (PSO). This technique splits the solution vector into smaller vectors, where each sub-vector is optimised using a separate PSO.
