Robust Software Tokens: Towards Securing a Digital Identity
Abstract:
This paper presents a robust software token method that is eective in enabling secure identi cation and digital signature in a distributed environment. The proposed scheme is similar to a cryptographic camou age scheme[5] in a sense of protecting private keys in software but is superior to that scheme in terms of performance and functional issues. Our schemes are based on the digital signature standard(DSS) and the RSA algorithm but capable of being extended to various kinds of public key algorithms. 1
