Abstract:
This article is concerned by necessary concepts to be expressed in qualitative regionbased geometry. In this ongoing work is presented a method to associate to an object a set of spheres representing the shape (skeleton and thickness) and the orientation. A general framework on direction is developed and the limited case of convex is completely achieved. Moreover clues are presented to generalize to any kind of objects. 1
