Abstract: :
Data Mart has been evolved form Data Warehouse and now shows trend to develop
rapidly in DSS (decision Support System) and EIS (Executive Information Systems) field.
Therefore the basic concepts and system structures of data mart are still on their way to
grow up. This paper discusses two issues with recently research of data mart. In the first
part, the definition of a data mart and its relation with data warehouse including their
